Comets Men’s Soccer Shines in the Classroom
The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) announced its Fall 2025 Academic All-Region honors on Thursday, recognizing student-athletes for excellence in the classroom during the first semester of the academic year.
The start of the new year brings well-earned recognition for academic achievement across the conference, with more than 2,700 student-athletes honored this season. Over 1,700 earned First Team All-Academic recognition, while nearly 1,000 were named to the Second Team.
Western Iowa Tech men’s soccer was well represented, with 24 of the program's 35 student-athletes earning Academic All-Region honors - an impressive reflection of the team's commitment to success both on the field and in the classroom.
Region 11 Academic All-Region Qualifications
- First Team: GPA 3.5–4.0
- Second Team: GPA 3.0–3.49
- Minimum NJCAA-required credit hours
- Cumulative or semester GPA (whichever is higher)
- All sports recognized each semester
