Comets Women’s Volleyball Excels Academically in Fall Semester
Western Iowa Tech women’s volleyball student-athletes earned Academic All-Region recognition as the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) released its Fall 2025 honors, highlighting academic success during the fall semester.
Academic All-Region awards recognize student-athletes who meet high academic standards while competing at the collegiate level. This fall, more than 2,700 student-athletes across the conference were honored, including over 1,700 First Team selections and nearly 1,000 Second Team honorees.
The Comets women’s volleyball program saw strong representation, with nine of the team’s 13 student-athletes earning Academic All-Region honors - reflecting the program’s emphasis on academic achievement alongside athletic performance.
Region 11 Academic All-Region Standards
- First Team: GPA of 3.5–4.0
- Second Team: GPA of 3.0–3.49
- NJCAA minimum credit-hour requirement
- Higher of cumulative or semester GPA used
- Honors awarded each semester for all sports
